# Veriql Risk API > Read-only crypto risk API: wallet approval-risk, token security, and a > transparent 0-100 launch-safety score. Same engine as the free Veriql > scanner. Every verdict returns its itemised drivers ("shows the math"). > Non-custodial: public on-chain data only, never a private key or wallet > connection. A clean result means no known risks were found: not a guarantee. > Not financial advice. Base URL: https://veriql.pages.dev/api/v1 Auth: send your key in the `x-api-key` header (keys look like `vq_live_…`). Envelope: every 200 is `{ "version": "1", "endpoint", "requestId", "result", "disclaimer" }`. Errors: `{ "version": "1", "error": { "code", "message" } }` with status 400/401/402/429/501. Metering: prepaid credits, 1 credit per successful (2xx) call; failed requests are free; top up anytime. Headers: `X-Credits-Remaining`, `X-RateLimit-Remaining` on every response. 402 = out of credits. ## Endpoints - GET /api/v1/scan?address=0x… Wallet approval-risk across 5 EVM chains (Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum, Base). Returns a 0-100 Security Score with `drivers`, the risky approvals, and a best-effort USD value-at-risk. - GET /api/v1/token?address=0x…&chainId=1 Token/contract security (honeypot, taxes, mintable supply, hidden owner, proxy, …) as plain-English `flags`. EVM chains and Tron. `chainId` accepts an id or key (e.g. 1, base, tron); defaults to Ethereum. - GET /api/v1/launch?address=0x…&chainId=1 Transparent 0-100 launch-safety score with `band`, full `metrics`, and every penalty as an itemised `driver`. EVM chains, Tron and Solana. - GET /api/v1/blocklist?address=0x…&chain=evm Drain Watch lookup: is this a known drainer/scam address? Returns { listed, category, confidence, first_seen, sources[] }: a miss means no known listing found, not "safe". Answered from our own list (no upstream), so it's cheap/fast. ## Drain Watch A free, continuously-updated public feed of known drainer/scam addresses, no key required: https://veriql.pages.dev/drain-watch. The underlying open list is published as JSON at https://veriql.pages.dev/drain-watch/blocklist.json. Every entry carries its sources. ## MCP (for AI agents) An MCP server exposes veriql_scan / veriql_token / veriql_launch as agent tools. Add to Claude/Cursor: command `npx`, args `-y @veriql/mcp`, env VERIQL_API_KEY. Every call runs through your metered credits. ## Docs - Human docs: https://veriql.pages.dev/api - OpenAPI 3.1: https://veriql.pages.dev/openapi.json ## Pricing Prepaid credit packs in USDT/USDC: a free instant key (1,000 credits), then paid packs below the incumbents' floor.
