What Veriql is (and isn't)
1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using Veriql (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. In these terms, "we", "us" and "the operator" mean the operator of the Service.
2. Nature of the Service
Veriql is an informational, read-only, non-custodial tool that surfaces best-effort risk signals about crypto wallets, tokens and addresses. It reads public on-chain data and third-party data sources (for example, GoPlus and DexScreener). It never takes custody of your assets, and it never requests your private keys, seed phrase, or a wallet connection.
3. Not financial advice
Nothing provided by the Service is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, and nothing is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any asset. You are solely responsible for your own decisions and transactions. Always do your own research.
4. No guarantee: a clean result is not "safe"
The Service detects known patterns and known-bad data. It may miss novel attacks, and it cannot predict the future: contracts can be upgraded, ownership can change, and liquidity can be pulled after a check. A clean or low-risk result means no known risks were found at the time of the check: it is a signal, not a promise, and never a guarantee of safety.
5. Third-party data
Parts of the Service rely on third-party data sources. We do not control those sources and do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness or availability of any upstream data. Results may be incomplete, delayed or unavailable when an upstream source is degraded.
Using the Risk API
6. API keys
If you use the Risk API, any API key issued to you is yours to keep secret. You are responsible for all activity under your key. Do not share it publicly or embed it where others can extract it. We may rotate or revoke a key if it appears compromised or misused.
7. Credits, quota & rate limits
API access is metered with prepaid credits and per-key rate limits. Successful calls consume credits; quotas and limits may apply and can change. The API is provided on an "as is" basis, without any uptime or availability guarantee.
8. Fair use of the API
You may display Veriql results to your own users as part of your own product. You may not resell or redistribute the raw data feed as your own, build a competing raw-data feed from it, or abuse, reverse-engineer, overload or attempt to circumvent the Service or its limits.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service unlawfully, to infringe the rights of others, to probe or breach its security, to scrape or overload it, or to misrepresent its results. We may rate-limit, suspend or revoke access to protect the Service and its users.
The legal bits
10. Intellectual property
The Service (including its software, scoring methodology, content and branding) is owned by the operator or its licensors and is protected by applicable law. These terms do not grant you any rights in it beyond using the Service as intended.
11. No warranty & limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Service, including any trading, transaction or on-chain action you take. You are responsible for your own transactions.
12. Governing law & disputes
These terms, and any dispute arising from them or from your use of the Service, are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of the Service, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Where a specific governing law or venue is required, it will be the one applicable to the operator of the Service.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, the revised version replaces this one and applies from the time it is posted. Your continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
14. How to contact us
Questions about these terms? You can reach the operator through the contact options on the Service's website.
